The network utilizes advanced hardware such as high-speed routers, VLAN-capable switches, and servers – this is for supporting multiple departments efficiently. The software tools are complemented by monitoring and security applications to ensure robust system oversight. This ensures optimal performance and secure data handling. The combination of wired and wireless connectivity fulfills the department-specific needs, balancing stability and flexibility while ensuring stable high-speed internet across floors and departments. Security is a priority, with firewalls and private VLANs protecting sensitive information. The total estimated cost for all necessary hardware, software, and redundancy provisions is RM 537,509.18.
